Orienteering at Pond Mountain Natural Area
Join the Western Connecticut Orienteering Club at Pond Mountain Natural Area on Sunday, May 31 for a fun and challenging day outdoors. This Score-O event invites participants to find as many control markers as possible within either a 1.5-hour or 3-hour time limit, choosing their own route and pace along the way. Suitable for beginners and experienced navigators alike, the course will include some controls placed along trails near the event center, with others offering a greater challenge in the terrain beyond. Start times will be staggered so that participants finish around the same time, followed by a social gathering.
